I picked up the Element yesterday with the freshly installed camper top. I haven't had time to test it but will this week, I can say that it doesn't affect the handling and highway noise seems no different.
I'll be using it this week and will post pics of my camping adventures.

Looks pretty sweet! I like the luggage rack on top. It's looks like it could be useful.
